COVID Protocols
We will continue to monitor what's happening with COVID in our local communities and adapt our barn procedures accordingly. Serving the population we do, we are in constant communication with participants and their families regarding the health and safety of our riders and volunteers.
Equicizer
Coming soon, an Equicizer for BGTRC! Creator and award-winning jockey, Frankie Lovato Jr. is building a mechanical horse for BGTRC. Custom design allowed our barn to place an order with Frankie earlier 2021 for a full size Equicizer to be delivered this summer. Our design was inspired by an amazing horse we miss everyday, Charlie. We look forward to partnering with Charlie again to help riders be introduced to concepts of grooming, tacking, mounting, riding, and dismounting. Confidence leads to clarity and the Equicizer helps many riders gain what they need before riding. The mechanical horse mimics the action of the therapy horse and helps to strengthen, stretch, and improve balance.
